1、ASA具有良好的机械物理性能。
　　ASA和ABS的结构相似，由丙烯腈和丁二烯橡胶组成，其保留了ABS作为工程塑料所具有的极佳的机械物理性能。
2、ASA具有很强的耐候性。
　　高分子聚合物中若含有双键，则双键容易被能量强度较大的太阳光中的紫外线所打开，由此造成高分子聚合物的耐老化性能下降，而ASA正是用不含不饱和双键的丙烯酸橡胶替代了ABS中含有不饱和双键的丁二烯橡胶，因此，不但可抵抗紫外线照射引起的降解、老化、褪色，同时对大气中的氧化加工过程中的高温引起的分解或变色有了坚强保障，由此极大的提升了材料的抗老化与耐侯性能。根据测试结果，ASA的抗老化性能是ABS的10倍以上。
3、ASA具有比较好的耐高温性能。
4、ASA是一种防静电材料，能使表面少积灰尘。
